The Story of Endurance Solutions
Endurance Solutions was born out of a deep commitment to helping people solve problems that seem insurmountable.
After years of working in high-stakes international negotiations, facilitating peace processes, and supporting communities in crisis, Stacia George wanted to create something personal—a service dedicated not just to resolving conflicts, but to resolving the most challenging issues in a way that is sustainable and transformative.
The idea for Endurance Solutions began with Stacia George's passion for mediation and her belief in the power of collaboration. Throughout her career, she had seen firsthand that solutions created by people working together tend to last, especially when stakeholders take ownership of the outcomes. But this work required more than just expertise in conflict resolution; it demanded patience, resilience, and a steady hand guiding the process—qualities she saw embodied in one of her personal heroes, Ernest Shackleton.
The legendary explorer Shackleton led his team through unimaginable challenges, stranded in the ice of Antarctica. It was his unwavering endurance, his ability to maintain morale, and his focus on finding a way home that inspired Stacia George. She saw a parallel between Shackleton's journey and the process of guiding people addressing conflict and insecurity: both require a commitment to stay the course, no matter how difficult the path. To honor that spirit, she named her venture Endurance Solutions, with the vision of helping clients navigate their own rough waters and emerge with clarity and resolution.
To deepen her understanding, Stacia George even journeyed to Antarctica, tracing Shackleton’s path and visiting his grave on South Georgia Island. This pilgrimage solidified her commitment to building a business that could help clients find hope and solutions in even the most challenging conditions. With Endurance Solutions, she set out to bring her expertise to the public, creating a service that would be approachable, professional, and grounded in the values of patience, collaboration, and strength in the face of adversity.
